The Abbey offers multiple full service wedding and reception packages with unlimited phone/email support prior to your event and easy monthly payment plans with no interest. We offer a chapel, outdoor wedding sites, reception venue, accommodations, bar and catering all in a beautiful picturesque historical setting. We can accommodate groups of 2 to a maximum of 350 guests with our diverse selection of packages.

The Abbey has a number of different venues and areas to hold your actual wedding ceremony. All of our ceremony packages include:
- One-hour rehearsal, with coordinator, usually scheduled the day prior
- On-site Wedding Coordinator on the day of the wedding
- Use of Brides Dressing Room
- Use of Groom’s Quarters
- Use of Bridal Salon Room, with beauticians chair
- All standing décor, guest book table, wedding arch, podium and unity candle table

The Abbey Chapel is an elegant indoor location for exchanging of vows. This remarkable chapel features a soaring ceiling, large stained glass window, stone pilasters with the twelve apostles making a beautiful atmosphere for your wedding. Seating for 200 guests. The chapel is air conditioned and available for use May through October.
Outside Garden Areas
A number of Abbey bride’s elect to have the ceremony outside on one of the Abbey’s beautifully landscaped areas. With spectacular views of the historic Holy Cross Abbey Monastery, your ceremony may be held outside in front of the picturesque monastery and bell tower or in the more intimate grove to the west of the monastery, these choices are very popular options and can comfortably accommodate up to 350 guests. Although the choice is yours, really the outdoor choices are boundless. (We have the unique ability to plan for an outside ceremony, but still have a inside backup space should the unpredictable Colorado weather change at the last minute).
No Fuss, No Frills” Ceremony (up to 30 guests)
Morning or Early Afternoon Weddings (between 9 am—2 pm)
Limited to 30 people or less, including bride and groom. Limited set up and does not include rehearsal time or dressing areas.
Dine and dance with your guests in the tasteful Benedict, Abbots or Cafe rooms in the Event Center building. The Benedict room can accommodate up to 275+, the Abbots room up to 70 and the Café up to 90. You can expect individual attention to help your reception to go smoothly, complimentary services, customized menus and our on-site coordinator services to ensure your day is stress-free. Our on premise catering staff provides great tasting food with outstanding service at a very competitive price.

A beautiful banquet room with open space and mountain views. The Benedict room can accommodate up to 275+, with room for a dance floor, head table, cake table, gift table and space for a DJ or small band.
Abbots or Café Room
Perfect for a small, intimate reception the Abbots room can accommodate up to 70 or Café room can accommodate up to 90, with room for a small dance floor, head table, cake table and gift table.
The Abbey allows you the freedom to use your own vendors for linens (if you would prefer colored linens) cake/dessert, décor and entertainment.
Liquor may not be brought into the Abbey Event Center Building or grounds immediately surrounding the Event Center building including patio areas and parking lot per our liquor license rules.
Menus– our menus range in price from $12.95 to $26.95 per person (+ sales tax and gratuity). Your menu may be customized for your event, your coordinator will work with you to help make the best choices. Tastings may be arranged with your coordinator.
Decorations– if no other event is taking place in the room you have reserved, you may come in the afternoon before to decorate. If that is not possible, you may come in after 9:00 am the day of your event to decorate. Any décor items you wish to keep must be removed at the end of your event.
Wedding & Reception Packages
Wedding ceremonies together with wedding receptions at the Abbey Events Complex are perfect for couples that prefer the convenience of having their wedding guests travel to a single location.
Abbey Chapel Rehearsals
Rehearsal for Chapel or outdoor weddings are complimentary, usually scheduled for one-hour the day prior. Your personal on-site wedding coordinator will attend to ensure your event runs smoothly. Time scheduled is dependent on availability
Wedding Package Enhancements
The Sister’s House is the perfect place for families, out of town guests or members of the wedding party. Located on the Abbey Campus close to the Event Center building, it features 14 bedrooms, sleeps 23, living and dining room, 3 bathrooms, a small kitchen, conference room and covered patio. Many brides have found this to be a perfect, affordable solution for lodging during their wedding! You can even host your rehearsal dinner on the patio, have the Abbey cater in for you or cook some burgers on the grill.
